Caritas International is an international charitable, development and social services organization of 165 Catholic public interest groups. The first member group was established in Freiburg, Germany, on November 9, 1897, and began to receive responses in various countries. Finally, in 1950, Caritas became a member of Caritas groups in thirteen countries. In 2011, he was certified as a church corporation by the Holy See.
