HKDRC established in 1978 , is committed to promot long-distance running , long distance sector in Hong Kong,which is one of the largest organizations . The spirit of HKDRC is " HKDRC - whole-heartedly promote Hong Kong marathon thirty-six years ." HKDRC was with 35 years of efforts to promote long-distance running , long distance open competitions are organized to improve the technical level of the participants . HKDRC established for the purpose is to promote green living, green low-carbon life .
 

The HKDRC organized a jog activity to around the streets and specially designed a T-shirt which concept is green.It was free to deliver during the event . The purpose of this activity is to promote environmentally friendly low-carbon lifestyles , hoping to get more public support . Meanwhile, Hong Kong's long-distance cross-country marathon will also provide members and Trailwalker training sessions , to take to members learn from each other , exchange technology and opportunities to enhance friendship. HKDRC mission is to provide opportunities for local runners and the public , through our participation, lifting their running skills, and be introduced to the individual's health movement.
